When I stopped in the village of Ghyaru, (after a nausea inducing hour long climb through about 20 switchbacks, I had some tea in the kitchen of one of the tea-houses.
The cooking unit was almost exactly the same as the fogons I worked on constructing in Paraguay, so I thought I'd share a picture.
This one was made of metal and rested on a wooden table. It worked great, and provided lots of heat too, in the frigid high altitude air.
