My name is St. John Barned-Smith. I worked as a reporter for the Philadelphia Daily News (Hey guys!) for the last eight months before I decided to go all globe-trotty.
Starting February 9th, I will be in Paraguay training, and then hopefully serving, as a Peace Corps Volunteer. My assignment is as a health/sanitation extensionist, which means that I will be doing everything from workshops on HIV-prevention, to digging latrines, to building wells, and a bunch of other stuff.
I'll be updating as my departure draws near, but please email/contact if you have any questions.

St.John,
ReplyDeleteIf you answer Terry's questions, that will be enough for me. Or what did you see when you first stepped off the plane?
I just am sending you a letter, today. It's sitting in the blue mail box across the street from work. It says par avion on it so it should go by air to Ascunsion. Hope you get it soon.
All the best,
Tom (and Cara)
